The holy occasion of Navratra started from 21st September and lasted for 10 days. The idol of Maa Durga was brought to bless the students. There were morning and evening aarti everyday followed by the distribution of Prasad. The students were rejuvenated with positive vibes after every aarti. They participated in the activities which included rangoli making, singing devotional songs etc.
For rejoicing the festivity, two drum men were appointed, who used to play their drums with vigor to please maa durga and create a joyous environment.
A 3 day bhandara was organized by the college for the poor and the needy where around (n number) of people came and ate.
All the students offered their books to goddess saraswati for excellence in studies. The last day when the goddess was taken for immersion was a day of mixed emotions where everyone was happy to spend so much time with maa and on the other hand the departing of the goddess made everyone a little gloomy.
