Q2. Are the programs approved by AICTE?
A. Yes, all the three programs mentioned above are approved by AICTE.
Q3. What is the admission/ eligibility criterion at SRI SIIM?
A. (a) Candidates applying for admission to the first year of PGDM Program must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Program OR Post Graduate Degree after 10+2+3 scheme.
Note: Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree examinations may also apply.
(b) Candidates should have CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT scores, a good academic record.
Q4. What is the minimum marks/grade one should have at the Bachelors' level so that one can apply for admission?
A. There should be at least 50% marks. However, selected candidates are likely to have had a consistently good academic record.
Q5. What test scores are accepted by SRI SIIM for admission to regular PGDM program?
A. For Admissions 2016-18, SRI SIIM would accept CAT 2015 / CMAT 2015 / MAT 2015-2016 & XAT 2015 scores.
Q6. What is the minimum marks one should have at the CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT exams for admission?
A. There should be at least 50% in CAT & XAT and 500 Composite score in CMAT/ MAT Exam.
Q7. When do the admission process & Academic session start?
Admission for 2016 - 18 Batch of PGDM program commences from December 2015. Academic session will commence from August, 2016.
Q8. What is SRI SIIM’s intake for admissions?
A. SRI SIIM currently has AICTE approval for 120 seats for regular PGDM, 30 seats for PGDM (Part time for Executives) and 30 seats for PGCM-RM.
Q9. What is the cost of Application Kit?
A. The cost of Application Kit consisting of Prospectus and application forms is Rs. 300 by cash and Rs. 350/- by demand draft in favour of “SRISIIM” payable at New Delhi.
Q10. Where can I obtain the prospectus & Application form?

Q.11 Can a candidate get a soft-copy of the Application form?
A. Yes, a soft-copy will be available on our website www.srisiim.ac.in.
Q.12 How does one apply to SRI SIIM?
A. Students should send the duly filled in application form purchased from the campus /channel partners to our Admission Coordinator for GD/PI. Downloaded forms should accompany with a demand draft of Rs. 550/- as application fee.
Q.13 Are there any attributes/parameters for evaluation in GD/Interview, on the basis of which I can prepare for SRI SIIM?
A. Yes, to help in this way we can suggest that you can prepare for your communication skills, leadership ability and clarity of thoughts other than listening and summarizing your ideas. For interview your work experience and aptitude for management career along with general awareness can help you.
Q.14 Should all candidates screened for the second stage of the Admissions process (GD/PI) travel to Delhi to attend interviews?
A. No. For Admissions 2016, SRI SIIM would hold GD/PI at different centers across the country. A list of GD/PI centers and dates will be announced accordingly.
Q.15 Does SRI SIIM shortlist only by cut-off scores in CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT of candidates for second stage (GD/PI)?
A. No. For Admissions 2016 SRI SIIM intends to go in for profile-based short-listing for GD/PI, which means that due weight-age would be assigned to components like Academic record/ Professional qualifications /Work-experience etc while the short-list is prepared.
Q.16 Does it mean that CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT cut-off scores would be different for each candidate?
A. Yes. In such a system it would be different because a candidate with a good Professional degree and considerable Work-experience stands a better chance of qualifying for GD/PI even with a comparatively lower CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT score vis-à-vis a fresher.
Q.17 Does SRI SIIM offer specialization in Finance/ Marketing / HR / IB /BARS?
A. Yes, SRI SIIM offers specialization in all the above functional areas but the option in the 2nd year lies with the student who is offered a basket of electives to choose from.
Q.18 Is there any age limit to pursue the PGDM program of SRI SIIM?
A. No. SRI SIIM does not discriminate candidates based on their age.
Q.19 Does SRI SIIM offer scholarships to the students?
A. SRI SIIM offers excellent scholarships to deserving meritorious candidates. The scholarships are based on the over all performance of their CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT score, academic background and performance in GD & PI.
Q.20 Does SRI SIIM offer any financial assistance?
A. Yes. Institute offers financial assistance to economical weaker meritorious students after the approval from the competent Authority.
Q.21 Does SRI SIIM arrange any Educational loan for students?
A. Selected students could directly approach any of the Nationalized/Pvt. Sector Banks for Educational loan. SRI SIIM would assist in facilitating the process, by providing necessary documents/certificates etc.
Q.22 Does SRI SIIM have its own Entrance test?
A. No, The selection depends upon the student’s CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT marks and their performance in GD/PI.
Q.23 Can a graduate of PGDM at SRI SIIM pursue PhD program in India or abroad?
A. Of course they can. The 2 year PGDM of SRI SIIM is recognized by AICTE and is equivalent MBA hence PGDM students could pursue PhD in India or abroad.
Q.24 Does the Institute have a Placement Cell and which are the companies visiting the Institute regularly ?
A. The institute has a dedicated Placement Cell. However, placement is a student driven activity and both student and placement cell work together at SRI SIIM to achieve 100% placement every year.

Q.26 What is a day's schedule at SRI SIIM?
A. Our day starts as early as 9.00 a.m. with “Sadhna” and goes on till 6.30 p.m. with a mixture of academic and extra-curricular inputs. The day remains hectic with surprise tests, presentations, projects and discussions.
